USTA Changing Structure of Adult Leagues

The USTA is dropping the monikers "Senior" (50 & over) and "Super Senior" (60 & over), and replacing them with groupings based on age.

Under the new structure, the USTA League National Championships will fall under two divisions -- Adult and Mixed. The Adult Division will be broken down into 18 and over, 40 and over, and 55 and over. The Mixed will be 18 and over, which is the same as the previous format.

USTA Ratings Explained

From Texas USTA

First of all, it is combo and mixed (unless mixed is all you play) results that do not get put into the NTRP calculation.

Senior and Tri-Level league results do get used in the NTRP calculation.

It isn't so much how many matches you play, (although the more matches you play the more accurate your rating will be), it is the strength of your opponents and the scores of the matches.
